IBEXORA is a small engineering company focused on reliable RFID systems for real outdoor events. We develop and manufacture our products directly in the Czech Republic and test them in the Beskydy Mountains and the Tyrolean Alps. In development, we focus not only on functionality, but also on ethics, so as many components as possible are produced in Europe.
I grew up in Ostrava, a city of roughly 300,000 people shaped by heavy industry and mining history. I discovered trail running in my twenties and immediately fell in love with it. The combination of physical challenge, mental resilience, and the beauty of nature completely drew me in. My early runs took me into the nearby Beskydy Mountains, where I explored technical trails and steep climbs. My first ultramarathon was Beskydská Sedmička, a demanding 90-kilometer race from Třinec to Frenštát pod Radhoštěm. Later, I moved to Innsbruck to study experimental physics. There, my passion for technology naturally merged with my love for mountain sports. After taking part in many smaller local races, I decided to build timing devices suited to small and medium-sized events, with the goal of making professional timekeeping accessible to everyone. The name IBEXORA was born during a run in the Pitztal, from the valley up to Braunschweiger Hütte, where I encountered a group of alpine ibex. Majestic animals perfectly adapted to harsh mountain environments, just like the devices I design. I no longer race actively, but I still enjoy trail running and hiking whenever I can. IBEXORA is my way of staying connected to the sport and the community I care about while contributing to its growth.
The main product is race timekeeping, but I’m open to custom solutions. If you have a specific scenario, I can prototype, test, and tailor the system for it.
